 Let’s first define network marketing as a group of people (product distributors) that join together to market a product or service using a corporate sponsored marketing system. 

 There are hundreds if not thousands of network marketing companies. Examples of product network marketing companies are Mary Kay, Monavie and Numis.  

 

 Service related network marketing companies would be something like World Financial Group, National Agents Alliance or Team Beach Body.

 

 How Network Marketing Companies Are Set Up

It’s set up much like a corporate sales system with a sales force, sales managers, regional VP’s, district VP’s and a chairman. The difference is that in a networking company everyone is an independent contractor instead of a corporate employee.

You must be careful when recruiting people to your business not to let them believe that they are applying for a job. Many people have come out to interview with a networking company believing they were applying for employment. Better to tell them up front than later.

How Do You Market Your Company?

Typically the company that you represent owns the marketing system and you are a distributor of the product and licensed to use that system. Now days your corporate sponsor would probably provide you with some sort of replicated website.

As a part of a network marketing system, you can make direct sales as an independent producer or you can create your own team of distributors, teach them how to sell products, then earn an override income from the production of your sales team. 

Inside that system you are provided with sales and marketing training, product training, motivational training and sometimes business management training.

As a team trainer, it’s your responsibility to show your new marketing associate how to develop a prospecting list, make contact calls, send email messages to prospects, and post content.

An Internet marketing system can teach you how to use all these techniques for a nominal investment.

Now know that a network marketing system is a group of independent marketers that join together to sell a product or service.  So then you can guess that an Internet marketing system is an online company that helps networkers and businesses market products an services online.

A really good Internet network marketing company will assist you in distributing your product or service using many types of online strategies.

Their system should teach you how to move your product online and provide training on how to use their system. It should also be duplicatable so your own sales team can use it too.

You can also add your product to an online distribution center so other marketers can become your affiliates and help you market your products for a part of the commission.
