In this business the one-on-one is a great way to present your company to a new prospect. For many people, it just feels weird for them to walk into a room full of strangers who are all smiling at them.
It may feel more natural for them to meet with you individually, learn more about the company, and sign up on their own without feeling like they’ve been herded like cattle for branding.
A.L. William’s philosophy is to recruit people at home then train them at the meeting. The business presentation is just a way to continue to sell the dream to those who are already in the business.
To be honest, my greatest offline success has always been to get together with my prospect over a cup of coffee and do an informal presentation. A comfortably set one-on-one preso can be your best fan creator.
Presenting To Friends and Family
What you will learn early on is that hard selling your friends and family is a great challenge. A scripted presentation to your best friend can sink your relationship like a rock.
In addition, you can turn a friend into an enemy really quick if you consistently hit them over the head with your business opportunity deal.They may tend to mistake your passion for delusion.
My best success with family is to have my marketing director do the presentation. If they are right for the business, they will join you. If not, it’s probably the best for you. But if you still feel woozy about showing your business to them and you really want them to see it, there may be another option.
Attraction Marketing Techniques Rule
When it comes to recruiting someone into your network marketing company, it makes so much more sense when you are attracting people to your team than chasing after your friends and family.
However, with this system, there is also a way to attract your family and friends with a lot more grace.
If they see that you have a series of personalized articles, short videos, professional looking web pages and blogs, it will be much easier to grab their attention and get their support. It’s best if they see if working for you and see you working first.
This is not difficult using online attraction marketing strategies. It only takes a short while to build it and you are off to the races.
One great success of attraction marketing is that it doesn’t matter if your family and friends ever join your business. You will always be busy attracting people to your team on auto-pilot. Therefore, recruiting your buddies won’t be such a high priority. It’s great if they join, but okay if they don’t.
